This draft describes how audio, video, and text content can be multiplexed together into a single RTP session. This multiplexing is prohibited by the RTP specification and the RTP Profile for Audio and Video Conferences with Minimal Control but is desired by some in the WebRTC community. Our new draft discusses why it might be desirable to allow this functionality, and outlines the changes to the RTP specification needed to enable it. This is an early draft for discussion at the IETF 84 meeting in Vancouver, and is not yet suitable for implementation.
