Gareth Tyson and
Ignacio Castro gave a talk about
our new project on Streamlining Social Decision Making for Improved
Internet Standards at the
31st Multi-Service Networks Workshop, held in July 2019 at The
Cosener's House in Abingdon.
The
slides are available on-line. The talk gave a quick overview of the
goals of our new EPSRC project, to extract, analyse, and review data
about the operation of the IETF and begin to understand the social
decision making process by which standards are developed, to provide
a new dataset for the natural language processing and social network
analytics community, and to provide suggestions to the IETF community
to improve their standards process.
